The JCB Hood localization project involved replacing DCPD and fully revising the production process, with joint validation by the engineering teams in Brazil and England. The transition was carried out with low tooling investment, enabling the production of parts with negative angles and solid mechanical properties. The result was a component with a consistent surface finish and a paint standard compatible with automotive applications.
